826,165. Cupping presses. DEMAG A.G. Oct. 15, 1956, No. 31268/56. Class 83 (4). [Also in Group XXXIV] A rectilinear-motion bearing for the rack 2 of a push bench for tubes comprises rollers 5 haying their supporting axles replaceably mounted in the rack. The rollers 5 run on roller bearings, not shown. At the end, to the rear of a support 4 for the mandrel rod, two rollers 5 are connected by a pivoted linking member on each side of the rack. The sections of the rack are held together by plates 8, bolts and shrunk-on rings 10. In a modification, shown in Fig. 4, the rollers are staggered so that rollers 5a contact a lower guide surface and alternate rollers 5b contact an upper guide surface. Some of the rollers, preferably those at the beginning and end of the rack, are provided with treads, while the remaining rollers are smooth.
