Abstract

823,603. Moulding rings &c. from silicone elastomers and P.T.F.E.. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. Dec. 21, 1956 [Dec. 21, 1955], No. 36711/55. Class 87(2). A thread 15 having alternate layers of silicone elastomers and polytetrafluoroethylene formed by extruding a laminated sheet through four orifices 14, is wound on a mandrel 16 and moulded to form a ring. Alternatively, by using a wire as the mandrel and producing a coil of negligible internal diameter a solid article may be made.
