Class 65(1) A strut 5, hinged at 6 to a window panel or windscreen 2, has a notch 9 engageable by a ferrule 12 to hold the panel in an open position, and a notch 8 engageable by the ferrule to hold the panel in the closed position, the notch 8 being presented forwardly towards the panel when the latter is held in the open position. The ferrule embraces a rubber bush 12 eccentrically 'mounted on a pin 11. An operating handle 15 is provided on the strut.
