Abstract
822,945. Treatment chambers. OXYGENAIRE (LONDON) Ltd. Jan. 17, 1958 [Jan. 22, 1957], No. 2304/57. Class 81 (2). A closed, gas-proof carrier for a child, primarily for use in aircraft, has pockets secured to the inside of its side and/or end walls, to receive hot water bottles or ice packs, in order to control the internal temperature. The carrier is made of flexible gas-proof material stiffened by a rectangular wire frame and, for ease of folding, it is made as an opentopped box Fig. 1, with its longer sides and bottom stiffened in this way, and with a removable insert, Fig. 3, having foldable, stiffened ends 11 which, when in position, make the whole structure rigid. The walls are preferably padded and the pockets 21, 22 are attached to the inner surface of the innermost sheet of fabric. Preferably a transparent cover 24 is provided and a window 26 may be set in one wall. A connection 27 is located at one side for fitting an oxygen supply pipe 28.
