Abstract
820,838. Mechanical garages. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG-NURNBERG A.G. July 2, 1957 [July 5, 1956], No. 20825/57. Class 78 (4). A vehicle to be pushed in a mechanical garage by a trolley is first centred relatively to the trolley by a pair of oppositely moving thrust members 7 carried by the trolley and engaging the insides of at least one pair of wheels of the vehicle. The trolley 3 illustrated is generally similar to that described in Specification 820,837 and includes a pair of guided racks 9 driven by pinions 11 through a torque-limiting coupling from a motor 15 and carrying at their outer ends the members 7 which include rollers 6 engaging the wheels 5 of the vehicle, preferably as they stand on roller table 4.
