820,460. Indicating devices. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO. Ltd. Dec. 6, 1957 [Dec. 7, 1956], No. 37503/56. Class 40 (1). The short-circuited rotor 5 of a selsyn transmitter of the type disclosed in Specification 817,332 is carried by a pulley 1 mounted to rotate around a stationary shaft carrying the stator 9, the whole being mounted inside an outer housing 8 with one or more openings through which the belt &c. may pass to engage the pulley. The stator winding may be of the usual 3-phase type or may be wound with two single-phase coils suitably phase-displaced and connected.
