820,162. Look-out reflectors for vehicles. RELIANCE TRANSPORT ELECTRICAL SERVICE (SHEFFIELD) Ltd. May 17, 1956 [May 17, 1955], No. 14165/55. Class 103(2) [Also in Group XL(c)] A driving mirror or other metallic accessory mounted externally on a motor vehicle is used as a radio aerial. The accessory or frame of the mirror in conjunction with its support pillar 10 forms the aerial element and is secured by a bolt 16 to an insulating support 12 attached to the vehicle wing. As shown, the upper end of pillar 10 is provided with an eye lug in which the mounting stem of a mirror frame 22 is capable of angular adjustment. The aerial lead-in is attached to a terminal lug 17 on bolt 16.
