Class 65(2) In a ball joint comprising a ball d which co-operates with a seating c in a socket a and is rotatable on a spindle ,g extending through a central bore in the ball, a groove e in the ball is engaged by a pin f fixed in the socket to prevent rotation of the ball about its axis relative to the socket. A sleeve o secured to the ball extends out of the socket and a flexible sealing envelope r is attached to the socket and sleeve. An annular seal q is situated between one end of the sleeve and the spindle. The seal q and envelope r are made of rubber or like material, and the sleeve o carries a flanged collar s forming an annular groove for the envelope. The seal permits the spindle to rotate relative to the sleeve and the ball.
