Abstract

The positive plate of an accumulator is made from an alloy containing 0.03-0.1 per cent calcium, 1-2 per cent tin, 0.01-0.1 per cent aluminium, the balance being lead. The plate is coated with lead which may be 0.005 inch thick and deposited electrolytically from a lead fluoborate bath. Specification 712,798 is referred to.
