Abstract

An accumulator grid is made of a lead alloy containing 0.03-0.1 per cent. calcium, 1-2 per cent. tin, 0.01-0.1 per cent. aluminium, the remainder being lead. In an example the alloy contains 0.08 per cent. calcium, 1.5 per cent. tin, 0.05 per cent. aluminium and 98.37 per cent. lead.
