Class 126 A draught regulator for a tube 1 connecting the chimney flue to the smoke outlet of an oilstove comprises counterweighted and curved flap valves 18 forming part of the circumference of the tube when in the closed position and when open under outside pressure uncover side openings 3, 4 on opposite sides of the tube. The valves 18 are carried on inverted U-shaped members 14, the pointed ends 13 of which are mounted in holes 10 in vertical bearing members 9. Members 9 together with vertical parts 7 are attached to a yoke 5 secured to the outside of the tube 1. The ends of members 14 have bearing edges 12 which are axially supported by the parts 7 in order to keep the valves 18 in position in the longitudinal direction of the edges 12. Members 14 also carry weights 15 on threaded rods 16, the weights engaging screw thread threads so as to be adjustable along the rods. Between the valves 18 and of the same length, a partition 19 is mounted in the tube 1 having flanges 20 at either end shaped to cover the mouths of the space formed between the valves when they are in the fully open position. Screwed to the outside of the tube 1 is a perforated metal sheet cap 21 for protection of the regulator and openings.
