For signalling between two bodies insulated from earth and having conducting frameworks the transmitter comprises an A.C. generator producing a frequency in the band 1 to 18 kc/s. is connected between the framework of one body and a metallic plate. The receiver on the other body comprises an amplifier connected between its framework and a similar metallic plate and feeding a signal indicator.
