Abstract

Steel and other metals are coated by spraying with silver, with an intermediate coating of tin, an initial spraying being carried out with the tin coating molten, and a final thickness of silver being sprayed on the solidified coating. Preferably the tin is applied by immersion using a zinc chloride flux.
