806,115. Dry shavers. HOLZMANN, F. April 19, 1955 [April 30, 1954], No. 11208/55. Class 131 A dry shaver comprises a stationary blade having an uninterrupted straight cutting edge and a number of rotary counter blades having separate teeth which co-operate with the stationary blade, the spaces between the teeth being filled by the bars of a grating. As shown, a shaver head 2, adjustable and removable for cleaning by sliding on a keyway 19, comprises a stationary blade 3 adjustably secured to the head by a screw 7 and elongated slot 5 so that the cutting edge 6 rests on the outer surface of a grating in cutting co-operation with the cutting edges 10 of staggered teeth 9 which are arranged in helical rows on a roller 4 and pass outwards between bars 17 of the grating. The roller is driven by toothed wheels 13, 14, 15 from an electric motor 20 in the handgrip 1.
