Abstract
805,392. Telephone sets; sound recording and reproducing circuits. PROTONA PRODUKTIONSGESELLSCHAFT FUER ELEKTROAKUSTISCHE GERAETE G.m.b.H. April 7, 1955, No. 10193/55. Class 40 (4). In a magnetic recording on a reproducing system a microphone 2 and a pick-up coil 3, in which currents may be induced by a telephone receiver, are combined in a single casing 1. The microphone is used as a loud-speaker for reproduction. The sensitivity of the microphone (and loud-speaker) 2 is controlled by a potentiometer P. A stud switch 4 with a knob 5 controls the potentiometer and connects either the microphone or the pick-up coil to cable 7 through transformer 6. In a modification, Fig. 3, the potentiometer P has a sliding contact 4A and a separate switch 4B connects the pick-up coil or the microphone as required.
