Abstract

<PICT:0805243/III/1> <PICT:0805243/III/2> A container for holding paint for charging a paint roller comprises a hollow vessel 1 of substantially semi-cylindrical shape having a number of upstanding ridges 2 on its interior surface to ensure rotation of the roller during movement along the inner surface of the vessel. The vessel 1 may be of a synthetic resin material, e.g. polythene, and the ridges 2 are moulded in the pattern shown in Fig. 3. A line 8 may be moulded on the inner surface to indicate the level to which the vessel 1 should be filled. The vessel has three legs 3, 31 and a drop handle 4 secured to lugs 5, 51, one end wall 11 having an outwardly extending recess 7 for receiving the paint roller handle when the roller is not in use.
