Abstract
1,157,554. Box for paint brushes. D. C. HAIME. 17 March, 1967, No. 12780/67. Heading B8P. A box for paint brushes has pads of sponge rubber or polyurethane 16, 17 which clamp the brush handles 20 when the lid is closed, while the brush points 21 are kept out of contact with any part of the container. The surface of the pad 16 is sunk below the edges of the box base 12 while the pad 17 stands proud of the lid 13. Recesses may be provided in the pads; there may be two or more strips of pad material in both lid and base. Ventilation holes 23 are provided.
