805,239. Valve circuits for radio reception. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. Sept. 21, 1956 [Sept. 27, 1955], No. 28930/56. Class 40 (5). In a television receiver a tuning indicator is fed from a sharply-timed circuit 10 which is coupled to the output of the broadly-tuned video I.F. channel 6. The circuit 10 is tuned to a frequency on the slope at either one end or the other of the passband response of the channel 6, and is coupled to an I.F. amplifier 14. The amplifier 14 feeds rectifier 21 the smoothed output of which is applied to any suitable tuning indicating device.
