Abstract

805,216. Projection screens. JAYLE, G., and HOSTE, G. T. d'. Feb. 13, 1957 [Feb. 16, 1956], No. 4917/57. Class 97(1) A screen 1 is tensioned by a peripheral frame 4 inflatable through a valve 5. Lugs 7, 8, 9, 10 may be provided on the frame for suspension purposes. The frame 4 may be of single tube of circular cross-section, or there may be inner and outer frames of this form, the outer being inflated to the higher pressure. Alternatively, the tube may be of triangular cross-section stiffened on its outer face 13, Fig. 4. The projection surface is a matt white coating on one face of the screen. The screen material, or the opposite face thereof, may be silvered to act as a reflector.
