Class 97(1) An optical filter comprising a coloured or fulcausing foil 3 between two transparent plates and has its outer edge 5 so shaped that the space 6 between this edge and the inner edge of the filter mount increases in width outwardly from the supported surface 2. Space 6 is filled with cement. In an alternative form, the inner edge of the mount is bevelled.
