Abstract

804,948. Carburetters. SOC. INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES, S.I.B.E. April 4, 1957 [April 27, 1956], No. 11054/57. Class 7(3) An electric heating resistance 10 is mounted in the vicinity of the orifice 7 for feeding the idling emulsion into the inductor pipe and the throttle valve 5 is provided with a. passage 12 extending therethrough. In a liquid cooled engine the heating resistance may be in circuit with the ignition switch and a thermosensitive device (bimetallic strip or device making use of the expansion of a liquid) may be employed to open the circuit of the heating resistance above a predetermined temperature. Alternatively the heating may be stopped manually.
