In a television receiver, the unidirectional polarizing voltage for an electrostatic loudspeaker and the E.H.T. for the C.R.T. are derived from the same circuit. The loud-speaker voltage and the E.H.T. are derived respectively through rectifiers V2, V3 from the anode of the line output valve V1. A booster diode V4 may be coupled to the line output transformer T1. In a modification the loud-speaker voltage is derived from a tapping on a potentiometer energized from the E.H.T., Fig. 1 (not shown). The two voltages may be derived from a separate R.F. generator.
