[Also in Group X] In the manufacture of a building panel comprising a core 4 of cement-bonded wood-wool and a facing sheet 2 or sheets of asbestos cement, the wood-wool composition is arranged within and adjacent to a frame 1, which forms a mould wall, to form a marginal batt 5 before the central portion 4 within the frame is filled in. The wood-wool composition extends above the frame walls and is subsequently compressed. Specifications 555,484 [Group X] and 802,575 are referred to.
