Abstract
804,008. Automatic temperature control systems. NARUSE, M., TSUCKIKAWA, T., KABUSHIKIKAISHA NIHONDENSKI KOGAKU KENKYUSHO and MITSUBISHI NIPPON HEAVY-INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Jan. 24, 1956 [Jan. 24, 1955], No. 2395/56. Class 38 (4). [Also in Group XXII] In rolling gear wheels the blank 1 to be rolled is maintained at a constant temperature by a high-frequency induction heating coil 14 which is controlled by a photo-electric cell 32 exposed to the radiation emitted from the heated blank. The current from the cell 32 is fed to an amplifier 27 including a potentiometer 31 and the output of which is fed to a phase-shifting reactor 25 and varies the phase of the voltage applied to the grid of a discharge tube 17 which supplies a high-tension D.C. voltage to an H.F. oscillator 15. The coil 14 is coupled to the oscillator 15 through an H.F. transformer 33. Specification 622,839, [Group XXII], is referred to.
