Class 20(1) [Also in Group XIII] The ice surface of a temporary skating rink is frozen by brine circulating in lengths of flexible, preferably plastic, tubing 4 laid in parallel reaches, connected to a plurality of inlet and outlet headers of a refrigerating machine and supported in clips 6 on spacing members 5. The ends of the flexible pipes remote from the refrigerating machine are connected by U-shaped metal tubes. The arms of the clips 6 converge slightly to receive the arms of shield members 15 fitting over the flexible pipes. The rink is designed for temporary erection on existing sports fields.
