Abstract

A paint containing an epoxy resin as a binder is made by mixing substantially equal amounts of two liquids, one containing all the resin and the other all the catalyst, characterized in that the two liquids are differently pigmented so that on mixing the desired colour is obtained. In the example, the two liquids mixed contain (a) an epoxy resin, chromium yellow pigment, ethylene glycol monobutyl ester, methyl isobutyl ketone and toluol and (b) a condensation product of an epoxy resin and ethylene diamine, milon blue, ethylene glycol monoethyl ester, butanol and toluol.
