Class 52(3) A table top 9, e.g. for a television set, is rotatable through a limited angle about a central vertical axis 7 on a sub-structure 2 including legs 5 which are detachable so that they can be replaced by others of different length. As shown, the legs are clamped in sockets 4 by screws but bayonet joints may be used. The angle of rotation is limited by abutment of flanges 10, 3 on the top 9 and sub-structure 2. The top rotates on a ball race 22. Adjustable grippers 13 for the television set are provided. The top 9 may be constituted by the base of the set itself.
