Abstract
An insecticidal composition comprises a mixture of the o,o-dimethyl-dithiophosphate of diethyl mercapto succinate and a terpene hydrocarbon which may also contain terpene alcohols. The composition may be deodorized by chlorination as by stirring in an aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite, which is eventually removed by decantation or filtration. The composition may be emulsified with petroleum hydrocarbons or admixed with a solid carrier or dissolved in a solvent. Pyrethrins or other insecticide may also be added.
