Abstract
796,748. Propelling vehicles. OMANT, R. B. GRANT, R. I., and MARTIN. A. T. March 9, 1956 [March 10, 1955], No. 7544/56. Class 79(3) [Also in Group XXXIV] A motor vehicle debogging device comprises a ring 5 detachably securable to the rim of a driving wheel 6, a rod 9 extending diametrically across the ring and carrying at one end beyond the wheel periphery aground contacting blade 11. As shown, the ring 5 is bolted to the wheel 6 at 7 and carries lugs 8 in which is secured by pins 10 the rod 9. The ring may alternatively be constructed with holes in place of the lugs. In another embodiment, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), the lugs are of unequal length so that a tube carried by the lugs is arranged at an acute angle to the plane of the wheel, the tube housing an axially adjustable rod carrying the blade projecting beyond the wheel periphery.
