791,412. Earth-boring drills. HUGHES TOOL CO. Feb. 6, 1956, No. 3672/56 Class 85 A roller cutter for an earth-boring drill comprises bottom and wall cutting surfaces 7, 8 respectively, and a series 25 of wear resistant inserts protruding slightly above the surface 8. Further insert series 9...12, are located in the surface 7. The cutter will drill a full diameter hole after the junction of the surfaces and the series 12 of inserts have disintegrated.
