Abstract
790,168. Storing cars &c. LARSEN, H., and ISVEN, J. O. Feb. 20, 1956 [Feb. 25, 1955], No. 5238/56. Class 20(1) Articles, even motor cars, which may be stored in boxes 3 and 4 within open ended cabinets 1 and 2, may be removed by moving apart the cabinets 1, 2, hooking on to a pin 17, in one box or one article, a hook 15 contained in the opposite cabinet, moving that cabinet to pull the article or box on to extendable rollers 12 sliding on shafts 11 and now occupying the space between the cabinets, and then pushing the article or box transversely along the rollers 12. The rollers 12 are connected together and to the cabinets by ropes so that when the cabinets are close together, the rollers are close up together and are accommodated in recesses 13 and 14 in the cabinets. The cabinets are carried on rails 5 and 6 and may be moved together or apart by hydraulic or pneumatic servo-motor controlled by push button.
