789,773. Hygrometers. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN. Feb. 3, 1956 [Feb. 9. 1955], No. 3498/56. Class 97(3) Two moisture responsive elements such as bundles of hair 3, 4 each have one end connected to the ends of a lever 6 carried on an edge 5b at the end of a rod 5 slidable without rotation in the casing 1 and axially adjustable by screw and nut mechanism 11, 12 operated by a graduated knob 13, the inner ends of the elements being connected respectively to a spring 2 anchored to the casing 1 and to a rod 8 operating a switch 9. The anchorage of the inner end of the element 3 may be adjustable. The external parts of the instrument are enclosed in a perforated screen 7.
