789,253. Anti-roll devices. BROWN BROS. & CO., Ltd., DENNY & BROS., Ltd., W., and SINCLAIR, J. A. W. Oct. 15, 1956 [Oct. 12, 1955], No. 29045/55. Class 113. An anti-rolling device including at least one fin 3 with a tail flap 4 pivoted thereto, has an epicyclic gear means associated with the tail flap for causing same to swing consequent on swinging movement of the fin. The tail flap 4 is pivoted to the fin 3 by a shaft 5 which carries a toothed sector 8 engaging a fixed toothed segment 9 the centre of which lies on the swing- ing axis of the fin, the sector and segment being enclosed in a gear case 6 fastened to the fin.
