788,643. Jet propulsion nozzles. ZBOROWSKI, H. P. G. A. R. VON. May 1, 1956 [May 4, 1955], No. 13328/56. Class 110 (3). [Also in Group XXXIII] A rocket motor 6 shown in half-section has a nozzle 8 pivotally supporting four circurnferentially spaced two-armed levers 11. One arm of each bears a spoiler 9, and the other arm is operable by an electromagnet 10.. The electromagnets are operable to move one or other spoiler into the jet stream, thus deflecting it. Specification 730,069 is referred to.
