787,959. Furniture tips. MACDONALD, J. K. March 1, 1956 '[March 2, 1955], No. 6233/55. Class 134 A furniture tip comprises a cup-shaped metal member 1 having three spikes 2 for driving into the furniture leg 3. A covering 4 of rubber or similar material is bonded to the member 1 and is connected by a neck or necks 6 passing through a hole or holes 5 in the member 1 to a plug member 7. In a modified construction the plug 7, neck6 and hole 5 are omitted. The tip may be formed to fit over the end of a furniture leg, and the spikes 2 may be bent inwardly to grip the side of the leg.
