Class 65(2) [Also in Group XIV] The backrest 3 of a bed-settee is pivoted at each end to the seat frame 1 by a plate 11 having an L-shaped slot 12 which engages a stud 8 carried on an L-shaped plate 7 fixed to the seat frame and haivng on its shorter leg inwardly extending walls 13 forming a channel to receive plate 11 and support the backrest in the upward position. The backrest may be disengaged from the seat frame in the horiontal position.
