785,615. Brake linings. SAMY, A. April 18, 1955 [Dec. 28, 1954No. 37432/54. Class 103 (1). In order to prevent " squeal " in brakes, the brake shoes are provided with brake linings in which a dry lubricant, formed of individual granules of graphite or mica, is disseminated in the body of the brake lining during manufacture to provide lubrication of the friction surfaces as the lining wears down.
