785,454. Hydraulic accumulators. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Aug. 16, 1955 [Aug. 19, 1954], No. 24159/54. Class 69 (2). An hydraulic accumulator comprises a gasfilled bag 9 and an hydraulic chamber having an inlet port 18 and outlet ports 17 and a porous partition 15 of sintered bronze. The partition serves as a filter and also prevents the bag being trapped in the ports 17, 18 when the accumulator is discharged. In a modification the partition is replaced by plugs of sintered bronze which fit in the ports 17, 18.
