Abstract

784,978. Lamp holders. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. March 29, 1956 [March 30, 1955], No. 9968/56. Class 38 (1). [Also in Group XXXVII] In a combined switch and lamp socket (see Group XXXVII) a switch contact 18 is provided with an integral tongue which forms the centre contact for the lamp and is clamped in position between the two halves of the switch casing in slots 29, 29<SP>1</SP>. This casing is mounted between ears 58 on the lamp socket 11 and secured by twisting the end of a strip 62 which is provided with a terminal screw 65. A second terminal 21 is provided on a second switch contact 17.
