Abstract

782,508. Continuous-discharge mixing- machines. COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS), Ltd. May 20, 1955 [May 26, 1954], No 15541/54. Class 86 Apparatus for blending minerals, such as raw coal, comprises a plurality of bunkers 1 to 12 which are charged, stepby-step, in sequence by a conveyer 5 and all discharge simultaneously on to a conveyer D. The compartments 1 to 12 may be formed by sub-dividing three bunkers A, B, C as shown in Fig. 2. The charging rate is so arranged that any charging cycle is completed prior to the exhaustion of the mineral discharging from the first charged bunker of that cycle.
