782,496. Veterinary appliances. ARNOLD & SONS VETERINARY INSTRUMENTS, Ltd., and LOVE, D. S. Oct. 28, 1955 [Nov. 29, 1954], No. 34518/54. Class 81 (2). A veterinary appliance in the form of a spring pessary for insertion in the cervical canal is made of stainless steel wire bent into V-shape with outwardly curved sides. The pessary 10, Fig. 1, is formed with a rounded tip and outwardly curved arms and, by means of a compressing ferrule (see Fig. 3, not shown), it is placed in the open end 11a of the insertion device 11. This is placed in the canal and the pessary is thrust outwards into position by means of the plunger 15, actuated by the thumb ring 13.
