782,485. Arm rests combined with receptacles. DAIMLER-BENZ AKT.-GES. Jan. 17, 1956 [Jan. 17, 1955], No. 1590/56. Classes 52(2) and 52(3) [Also in Group XXXII] An arm rest 5, for a motor vehicle, comprising a wooden strip 5a to which a foam rubber member 5b is secured and covered by cloth or leather 5c forms the top boundary of a pocket 14 on or in the vehicle wall or door 7. The parts are secured to a sheet metal plate 9 secured to the base 7a of the door. In a modification (Fig. 3) the arm rest serves as a cover 15 for the pocket and is interrupted at two points to form a hinged flap 15a.
