782,149. Glass drawing. COMPAGNIES REUNIES DES GLACES ET VERRES SPECIAUX DU NORD DE LA FRANCE. Nov. 28, 1955 [Dec. 4, 1954], No. 34004/55. Class 56. In the drawing of sheet glass the bottom of the bath 2 of molten metal slopes, or is curved, upwardly from the front to the rear and the drawing takes place from the rear (shallower) end of the bath. The system is applicable particularly to vertical drawing followed by horizontal bending and annealing in the horizontal position or, as shown, to the drawing in an oblique direction. Water coolers 22, 29, 34 and air-blowing or suction coolers 24, 26, 27, 33, 35 are provided.
