Abstract

781,486. Weighing apparatus. ASHWORTH ROSS & CO., Ltd. Nov. 11, 1955 [Nov. 13, 1954], No. 32949/54. Class 143 A capacity change weight depositing mechanism for a weighing machine is provided with superposed capacity change weights 1-4 each of which is independently supported by ears 7 and rods 6 from a common carrier bracket 5 which is moved along guides 13 by a motor driven screw and nut mechanism 8, 8a, 11, 12. The desired weight or combination of weights is deposited on platform 16 by the operation of push buttons in a motor control circuit (Fig. 3, not shown) in which are incorporated limit switches provided with V-shaped operating arms 15 which co-operate with a projection 14 on the carrier bracket 5.
