Abstract

780,206. Work benches. ROBERTS, J. A. Nov. 7, 1955 [Dec. 10, 1954], No. 35753/54. Class 61. A confectionery making up table has a flat horizontal top 13 bounded by a trough 12 the top of which is located below the making up surface. The supporting structure 10 is fabricated from lengths of tube, the top 13 being secured by screws to fixing plates 14 welded at spaced intervals to the longitudinal support members 103 and transverse support members 104. The four corner uprights 101 are provided with upwardly and outwardly inclined struts 107 interconnected by longitudinal frame members 108 and transverse end members 109. The members 103, 108 are interconnected by channel-shaped supports 110. A wooden trough structure 12 is nested between frame members 103, 104 and 108, 109 with the bottom resting on the channel members 110. Trays are supported on the longitudinal members 106.
