A swivelling fire fighting nozzle 3 is connected by a flexible hose 2 to a supply tube 1 supported by a base (not shown), and a support 7 turnable about the tube 1 through an unlimited angle has a mounting 10 pivoted thereto at 9 for movement 'in a plane parallel to the axis of the supply tube, the mounting 10 being provided at one end with at least one handle 11 and at the other end with a bearing 12 which rotatably receives the nozzle 3 which is thereby enabled to pivot as the support 7 is turned about the tube 1.
