Class 61 In cramps for window or picture frames &c. in which adjustable corner clamps 12 are carried by arms pivoted in pairs to blocks 4 adapted to be drawn up together by a drive spindle having right and left hand threads 3b, 3a, the arms each comprise a threaded spindle 7 rotatably mounted on an articulated guide rail 9, the clamps 12 each comprising a stop 10 threaded on each arm 7, each stop carrying a pair of freely rotatable gripping faces 13. The spindle is arranged on a slide rail 1, the blocks 4 being provided with claws 5 embracing the side of the rail. The guide rails 9 are each connected by a pivot joint 6 to a block 4 and are each slidably supported by a journal 23 on a rail 22 provided on each longitudinal edge of the work table, the journal being secured in adjusted position by a wing nut 25. The clamps 12 each have a depending lug which embraces the guide rail 9. The rails 9 are each provided with a scale.
