In a bubble-tray column in which the bubble hoods 4 have ribs 5 resting on the neck openings 2 of the bubble trays 1, each hood 4 has several clamping springs 7 which lie against the curved lateral edge 3 of the opening 2 to hold the hood 4 releasably in position. Three equi-spaced springs 7 may be cast integrally in the body of the hood 4. Alternatively a central boss 6 may have openings into which the springs 7 are inserted.
