Abstract
775,194. Piezo-electric crystal oscillator circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and ROUS, R. F. Sept. 6, 1955 [Sept. 6, 1954], No. 25824/54. Class 40(6) An oscillator circuit comprises a thermionic valve 1 having a parallel resonant anode load 2 and a piezo-electric crystal 3 connected in positive feedback path between anode and grid, the anode voltage of the valve being caused to " bottom " during each cycle to limit the amplitude of oscillation. A resistor 8 is connected across the resonant circuit to ensure that the anode load is resistive.
