Abstract

774,336. Strap fastenings. TEMPELHOF, J. May 27, 1955 [June 1, 1954], No. 15336/55. Class 44. [Also in Group VII] A two-part buckle strap has the buckle parts constituted by frames A, B of no greater width than the strap 1 to which they are attached. Frame A has joggled ends 2 so that the webs 3, 4 lie in parallel planes and frame, B has webs 6, 7 in the same plane, the web 7 having a bent-over extension 8 which hooks on to the web 4 of frame A. The webs 3, 6 are of sufficient width to prevent them from turning in the strap and have holes 10 for stitching the frames to the strap. Recesses 9 accommodate the edges of the turned-over ends of the strap, these ends being slightly compressed as the frame-width does not exceed the width of the strap.
